Nanle County Sewage Treatment Plant Phase II Technical Transformation (Upgrading and Transformation of the Old Plant)

The Nanle County Sewage Treatment Plant Phase II Technical Improvement Project, designed for a scale of 30,000 tons/day, will adjust the existing process from "pretreatment + hydrolysis acidification pool + AAO (oxidation ditch type) + secondary sedimentation tank + deep treatment + contact disinfection tank" to "pretreatment + hydrolysis acidification pool + AAO-GMBR pool + contact disinfection tank." After the renovation, the effluent standard will be improved from GB18918-2002 Class IA effluent indicators to the Class IV water body standard (excluding TN) in GB3838-2002.

The project involves in-situ renovation within the existing biological pool (aerobic pool). The GMBR membrane modules are placed in the aerobic pool to transform it into an aerobic membrane pool, with supporting membrane pool equipment rooms. This achieves the transformation from AAO to AAO-GMBR without requiring additional land or large-scale civil construction, saving renovation costs. The stable effluent surpasses the designed GB3838 Class IV surface water standard, with zero coliform/SS, consistently meeting standards, and safely discharging into the river. It can also be reused nearby in industrial parks or for urban miscellaneous purposes.
