Tongxu Sewage Treatment Plant Phase I Project
The Phase I project of the Tongxu Sewage Treatment Plant is located east of Binhe East Road, Gaoxin District, Tongxu County, and south of Henan Zhuyou Zhizao Decoration Industry Park. It is a newly built sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 30,000 t/d, constructed in phases. Phase I is 15,000 t/d, along with ancillary facilities shared by both phases; Phase II will also be 15,000 t/d. The project covers more than 40 mu (approximately 2.7 hectares). This project involves the construction of a sewage treatment plant and supporting sewage pipelines, using a PPP project model. The total actual investment is approximately 150 million yuan.
The main service area is the Gaoxin District and parts of the urban area of Tongxu County. It handles mixed urban sewage, including industrial wastewater, using AAO-GMBR technology. It officially entered commercial operation in January 2024. The effluent quality surpasses the GB18918-2002 Class A standard stipulated in the environmental impact assessment approval, stably achieving the GB3838-2002 Class IV surface water standard (except TN). It safely replenishes the ecological base flow of the river and can also be reused nearby for industrial production.
