Recycled water station of a vocational college in Henan

The reclaimed water reuse station at a vocational college in Henan Province primarily serves approximately 8,000 teachers and students. It collects and treats domestic wastewater from the school's living and teaching areas to meet standards, and safely reuses the water for miscellaneous purposes such as landscape irrigation. The GMBR membrane equipment has a design capacity of 500 tons/day, uses an AO-GMBR process, and the treated water meets the requirements for toilet flushing and landscape irrigation as specified in 'Urban Sewage Reuse-Water Quality for Urban Miscellaneous Water Use' (GB/T18920-2002).

The GMBR membrane equipment uses an underground reinforced concrete structure, making it aesthetically pleasing and quiet. A smart water management control system is built in, allowing users to monitor system operation in real time via an app, enabling efficient unmanned operation. Since 2022, the membrane equipment has been operating stably, producing approximately 135,000 tons of high-quality reclaimed water annually, saving the school approximately 400,000 yuan in water fees each year.
