A rural sewage treatment project in Mengzhou City
A rural sewage treatment project in Mengzhou City is mainly responsible for treating domestic sewage and a small amount of industrial wastewater from the food processing industry in a certain office and four surrounding villages in Mengzhou City, serving approximately 3,000 people.
The GMBR membrane equipment of this rural sewage treatment project is designed to handle 370 tons of water per day, using AAO-GMBR process membrane equipment. The effluent water quality meets the Class A standard of the "Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants" (GB18918-2002). Since its completion and commissioning in July 2020, the project has been operating stably. The actual effluent is better than the Class IV surface water standard. The treated sewage is discharged into a nearby river via an artificial wetland, providing ecological water replenishment to improve the local rural living environment.
The membrane equipment adopts a carbon steel box structure, buried underground, with above-ground landscaping and greening, creating a "garden-style" sewage treatment plant. The plant area is beautifully landscaped, and the living environment is harmonious. This project has become a model for rural sewage treatment projects in Mengzhou City and Jiaozuo City, serving as a highlight of rural living environment improvement. It has been visited and inspected by leaders at various levels on multiple occasions, receiving affirmation and praise.
